Sotavento Apartments has been rated the number 1 most popular place to stay in Magaluf on Trip Advisor since 2012. If you stay here you are most certainly onto a winner of a holiday. In 2007 the place got completely reformed and again in 2014 Sotavento got a stylish face lift it is now a modern and trendy place for you and your mates to enjoy Magaluf.

The complex which is exclusive to adults is in a prime location, it is just a few minutes walk to the famous Maga strip which is rammed with bars, restaurants and nightclubs. The beach isnt far away either which makes it a top spot to hang out.

Sotavento is known for its wild pool parties, so as soon as you wake up you can re-start the party along side the resident DJ’s, or if you still need to face the events of what happened the night before, you can chill out in the new relaxation area, complete with Bali beds.

Facilities

There is everything you need here and much more. Wi-Fi is offered at the hotel so you can snapchat all your mates back home and make them very jealous. You can dine in our restaurant or pick up a quick snack from the terrace bar. A supermarket is situated next door to stock up on pre drinks.

The pool is surrounded by sun loungers and parasols, a hot tub is also available near to the outside bar so you can cool off while enjoying a refreshing drink. If you are still wanting to keep your summer body in shape while away Sotavento provides a fitness centre, there is no excuse to skip leg day.

Rooms

All of the rooms at Sotavento were recently refurbished into striking modern accommodation with Hed-Kandi esque decor. Every apartment comes with all the contemporary accessories to make your stay that little more pleasant including a hair dryer, full length mirror, satellite TV and most importantly air con to keep you cool if you decide to have an afternoon siesta.

TThere are two apartment sizes to choose from depending on the size of your group. The Chic or the Premium Chic apartments. The Chic apartments are a generous size and sleep up to 4 people. They have 1 bedroom with 2 beds and 2 sofa beds in the lounge area. The Premium Chic apartments sleep up to 6 people and are great for larger groups travelling together. They have one bedroom with 4 modern bunk beds and 2 sofa beds in the lounge area.

All rooms are fully equipped with a modern kitchenette, with hob, refrigerator, kettle and toaster. The modern private bathroom has a large walk in shower. There is also adequate wardrobe space to hang all of your holiday outfits. Each room either has a balcony or terrace, which is perfect for pre-drinks. These apartments provide a calm atmosphere which helps the guests to chill out and relax when they have had enough time in the sun.

Entertainment

Sotavento is the home of the original pool party in Magaluf, resident and guest DJ’s blast out the latest Balearic beats round the pool, every day. Sit back and watch the go-go dancers do their thing or join in on the games around the pool, for your chance to win you and the mates some free drinks. But if you have woken up feeling slightly delicate get your day off to a fantastic start have a dip in the Jacuzzi and get a cocktail in your hand then bask under the Mediterranean sun and wait for the BBQ to be lit.

Food & Drink

If you are after food and drinks, the hotel has it covered. The YOLO Restaurant serves food from 9am every day. It serves a wide range of food that is freshly prepared, the staff will help you make the best choice and give you details of the daily specials. If you are wanting to banish the hangover try one of the “hangover cure” breakfasts. No matter what time you wake up an English breakfast will always be on the menu.

A range of board options is available depending on your budget or food consumption. We have self catering, bed and breakfast, half board, and half board plus.

The YOLO poolside bar opens at 11:30 each day and serves all your favourite cocktails and a selection of beers. If you are wanting to go all out try one of their cocktail or beer towers. There will be no need for you to leave your sun lounger.
